I SPEAK MY TRUTH.
The Throat Chakra, Vishuddha, is where we express our essence to the world. It is the center of our self-expression, communication (listening AND speaking). It is the center of our communication from the body and the spirit. Vishuddha is located at the center of the throat. It is the first of the spiritual chakras heading up the Chakra System. Here we manifest our connection, originality, and creativity. Our physical connection to this chakra is in our throat, mouth, ears, neck, nose, and respiratory system. The color of Vishuddha is blue (light to bright blue), which symbolizes peacefulness, devotion, communication, and self-assurance. The Throat Chakra is where our emotions manifest into expressed feelings, such as laughing & crying. This is where we find inner harmony by learning to express ourselves to others.
Here we address our concerns about being disconnected from our inner wisdom and speaking our truth.
In Balance: we are able to both listen intently and speak eloquently. We understand that there is a balance in silence & sound. We can tap into our inner voice and trust ourselves. When in balance, our words are able to be effortlessly spoken and understood.
Out of Balance: we talk & talk & talk without clearly expressing ourselves. Our fears of rejection and/or being judged start to impact our self-expression. We view silence as a threat. We become nervous, which interferes with how we communicate our thoughts.
